There is an ample parking space before you get into the office. The receptionists welcome us friendly with proper COVID-19 procedures in place. The staff worked with patient very patiently and professionally. My teeth cleaning was done by Ying, she explained every detail to me and I did not feel any pain or uncomfortable at all. It's been a while since I've been to a dentist but I'm trying to get back on track with health in general. Overall it was great going to Markham Smile Centre! The receptionist (I believe she was Kim) was friendly. The hygienist, Ying, was attentive and gentle during the cleaning; x-ray tech (forgot her name, sorry!) was great too. Dr. Sara Riad explained things with good detail. Looking forward to going back!

I was someone who was nervous and anxious about visiting the dentist, but the team at Markham Smile Centre has made me feel SO comfortable. Kim is so patient and helpful and Dr. Hwang and Rory are both so professional and wonderful. They thoroughly explain the procedure to make you comfortable beforehand and are very gentle. I now look forward to visiting the dentist!

I found this place on a whim when I was looking for a new dentist in Markham. My hygienist ying was super nice and her cleaning was very gentle yet thorough. I saw Dr.Jason and he was very nice and informative in regards to what needs to be done and provided me with all the information I needed to make a choice. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dentist, they’re accepting new patients!!

I have been to many dentists in my life, Dr. Jason is easily the best dentist I have ever been too. He does everything he can to make you comfortable no matter the procedure and is a true professional, as does all the staff at Markham Smile Centre. Truly an amazing dentistry

The clinic was clean and the staff was very polite. I particularly liked the fact that everything was explained to me before going in for the procedure so I knew what to expect at each step. The dental hygienist who did the cleaning for me was also very gentle and took my concerns into consideration. I will definitely recommend them.

Upon arriving to the Markham Smile Centre, my son and I were greeted with a warm welcome by the receptionists. The hygienists and Dentist were very gentle and transparent with what they were doing. The hygienist that worked on my 9 year old son was patient and very friendly with him, which helped ease his nerves. Our overall experience was A+.

Since I was little, I have always hated going to the dentist... Its always uncomfortable and unpleasant. These days, visiting the dentist isn’t so bad! Dr Jason, Rory, and the lovely staff at reception make the experience 100x better. I have had absolutely no issues with the gum graft and cleanings that I’ve gotten done here. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful, even when I’m calling in or emailing a hundred questions :). I would highly recommend Markham Smile Centre.

Love this place! All the staffs are friendly and Professional and I mean all, cause I've been to most of their office, Markham , Stouffville, North York, and Maple. Dr. Ko is very professional and patient. Whenever I have questions and concerns he would always reply me . I would say this this dental office take care of you all the way. I want to preface my review with the context that I am very anxious during dental appointments. That being said, I want to thank the team at Markham Smile Centre for their care.

I have been seeing Susanne (the dental hygienist) for years. She is very gentle and accommodating to my sensitive front teeth, but I always leave with my teeth feeling thoroughly cleaned.

I recently had a fabulous experience with Dr. Rick and Erica (the dental assistant) for wisdom teeth extractions and a filling. You can tell they prioritize providing superior care. Dr. Rick was so gentle and did the extractions with almost no incisions. I had no swelling at all after the procedures. Needless to say, the filling was quick and extremely well done. I really appreciated that he took the time to explain every step and check in with me throughout. And a big thank you to Erica, who did an amazing job as well; I didn’t realize how big of a difference Bucky the stuffed Beaver would make!

And last but never least, thank you Annie and Jess for your kind greetings every visit. Your welcome smiles make a big difference.

Dr. Camila was truly exceptional. I’ve seen several dentists over the years and have always shared my insecurities and dislike of my smile, but she was the first who truly listened and genuinely cared. She took the time to understand my concerns and created a realistic, thoughtful treatment plan that felt achievable and tailored to me.

We’ve only just started this journey, yet the improvement after a single two-hour appointment was incredible. I walked in hating my smile and walked out unable to stop looking at my teeth. It was a complete transformation, not just in my smile, but in my confidence.

I also can’t say enough about the front desk staff and the entire team. Every single person is warm, welcoming and kind, making each visit feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Together, this team creates an experience that truly stands out. I’m so grateful to have found this practice and highly recommend it to anyone who’s felt nervous, hesitant or insecure about their smile.

The kindest office you’ll ever be at— I get regularly cleanings with Ying and I’ve gotten incredibly professional advice for my teeth and gum health. Dr. Camilla was fast and professional when I needed to fix some gaps in my teeth and the outcome looks amazing. Plus, reception staff like Edelyn (Sorry if I got the spelling wrong!) are truly gems you don’t find at every dental office. Highly recommended!

I went to Dr. Yoo feeling nervous and blue,
A dental examination was way overdue.
Fillings, a root canal, and even a crown,
This was the plan which caused me to frown.

But the moment I walked through that bright office door,
The staff greeted me warmly – I could not ask for more.
Kind voices, big smiles, they calmed all my fears,
Made me feel like a friend who’d been coming for years!

Dr. Yoo is a wizard, a true dental star,
I thought she’d been sent from Venus or Mars.
The needle? Barely felt it, the numbing was quick,
The root canal flew by (now that’s a neat trick!).

No pain, no stress, just laughter and care,
Soft music, warm hands, and jokes in the chair.
The whole team’s a dream – they’re simply the best,

I’ve been visiting this dental clinic in Markham for the past three years, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. I’m in an urgent situation where I need to get my broken tooth repaired tomorrow and then have a crown placed the day after. After searching through numerous dental clinics, I finally decided to give one a try and made a call. To my surprise, the receptionist was extremely helpful and managed to schedule an emergency tooth repair surgery for me the next day. I’m really grateful to Dr. Camila or their excellent skills—my cavity was only about 1mm away from the nerve, but they still managed to fix it perfectly. They even convinced Doctor Rick for the following day to add two extra hours to the surgery, ensuring my root system was properly treated.

Overall, this clinic is incredibly advanced. They offer full dental scans that you can even create a color image of your tooth. There are several receptionists, each handling different tasks, making the clinic feel modern with a well-organized, rigorous, and efficient workflow. It’s definitely worth recommending! I’m giving it a 5-star rating and hope everyone who sees this review will visit this clinic for their dental care and procedures.

I simply have to give Dr. Camila a perfect 5-star rating! I originally had an appointment for deep teeth cleaning on September 19th, but during the check-up, she found 4 to 5 cavities. The problem was—I had to leave town the following Saturday, and my schedule was so packed I could barely squeeze in any extra time. Just when I was panicking, Dr. Camila, who happened to be on duty and heard about my situation, proactively squeezed me in for treatment the next Wednesday. That thoughtfulness alone blew me away!

I’ll admit I hesitated a little at first, feeling nervous about the procedure. But over the two-hour treatment, Dr. Camila handled every dental issue with incredible professionalism. She walked me through the condition of each tooth in detail and gave clear, easy-to-follow tips on post-treatment care. When she finished, my teeth felt clean, smooth, and looked just as natural as before—all my discomfort was completely gone!

Not only is Dr. Camila incredibly kind and approachable, but her skills are truly top-tier. A huge thank you to the dental clinic for having such a responsible, patient-focused dentist. I can’t recommend Dr. Camila enough—she’s simply the best!

I had an amazing experience at Markham Smile Centre. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. They were kind, professional, and really helped ease my nerves before my appointment.

Dr. Ko did a fantastic job removing my wisdom teeth under sedation. I was really anxious going in, but he explained everything clearly, kept me calm, and the whole procedure went so smoothly. I couldn’t have asked for a better dental team.

I've enjoyed my experience here ever since I had to come for an emergency in early 2025 and the new patient process was simple & easy.
I've needed a couple things done like root canals, fillings, cleanings, etc and everything was excellently done.
Dr. Camila is really patient, caring, and ensures my comfort during all procedures. The team is also very welcoming & making me feel like family. They assist with scheduling and reminders for appointments.
There is Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) that is available to ease large procedures that I recommend if you're covered by insurance.
Overall, couldn't ask for a better team, you won't regret it. 😀

After going to my previous dental office downtown for over 5 years, I was pretty hesitant to make a change. But the commute eventually got to me, so I decided to give my neighborhood spot, Markham Smile Center a shot. Honestly, I’m really glad I did. Dr. Rick is super professional and takes the time to walk through everything, which made the whole experience a lot more relaxed. Susanne, the hygienist, was amazing super gentle and detail-oriented. The front desk team is was friendly and easy to deal with. Overall, i'm every happy with the switch. Highly recommended if you're looking for a solid local dental office

Hygienist Ying provided an excellent cleaning—she’s very gentle and understanding. The staff are incredibly accommodating and helpful, and the doctors are fantastic. My family and I have always received top-notch care here.

I had a cavity filled at the Markham Smile Center. Dr. Rick (Feng) and his team were very helpful and professional throughout the process. I was a bit nervous at first, since seeing a new dentist can be uncertain—you don’t know if they’ll be good or not until after the procedure. Luckily, I was in good hands. They did a great job, and Dr. Rick patiently answered all my questions and concerns.

As for billing, the receptionists provided me with an estimated quote based on what they received from my insurance. My final out-of-pocket payment matched that estimate, which gave me peace of mind.
