Teeth in a Day, also known as All-on-4, is an advanced dental implant procedure that replaces an entire arch of missing teeth using a small number of strategically placed implants.
Dental implants are a long-term solution for replacing missing teeth. The implant acts as an artificial tooth root that supports a crown or bridge, restoring both function and appearance.
Porcelain veneers are thin ceramic shells placed over the front of teeth to improve colour, shape, and alignment. Veneers can dramatically enhance the appearance of your smile.
Dental crowns restore damaged or weakened teeth, while bridges replace one or more missing teeth by connecting artificial teeth to neighbouring teeth or implants.
Professional teeth whitening treatments help remove stains caused by food, drinks, smoking, and natural ageing, giving patients a noticeably brighter smile.
Invisalign uses a series of clear aligners to gradually straighten teeth. These aligners are removable, comfortable, and nearly invisible.
Dental bridges help replace missing teeth by connecting artificial teeth to neighbouring natural teeth or dental implants.
Professional dental cleanings remove plaque and tartar buildup that cannot be eliminated with brushing alone, helping prevent cavities and gum disease.
General dentistry focuses on preventive care and routine treatments that help maintain healthy teeth and gums, including exams, cleanings, and minor restorations.
Non-surgical gum therapy treats gum disease by removing plaque and bacteria below the gum line, restoring gum health and preventing further damage.
White composite fillings repair teeth affected by decay while blending naturally with the colour of surrounding teeth.
Sedation dentistry helps patients feel calm and relaxed during dental procedures. It is especially beneficial for patients with dental anxiety.
Dental emergencies such as severe tooth pain, broken teeth, or dental infections require immediate attention. Our clinic provides emergency dental care to relieve pain quickly.
Root canal treatment removes infection from inside the tooth and seals the root canals, allowing the natural tooth to be preserved.
Dental surgery includes procedures such as tooth extractions and other treatments required for more complex dental conditions.
Wisdom teeth may cause crowding, pain, or infection if they do not erupt properly. Removing problematic wisdom teeth helps prevent future dental complications.
Modern dental technology helps dentists diagnose problems earlier and plan treatments more accurately. Digital imaging and advanced tools improve both comfort and treatment outcomes.
Every patient has unique oral health needs. Our dental team carefully evaluates your dental condition, listens to your concerns, and recommends treatments that support long-term oral health.
Our goal is to help patients achieve healthy, confident smiles that last for years.
The best way to determine the right treatment is through a comprehensive dental examination. During your visit, the dentist will evaluate your teeth, gums, bite, and overall oral health. Based on this assessment, a personalized treatment plan may include preventive care, restorative procedures, or cosmetic improvements, depending on your specific needs.
General dentistry focuses on maintaining oral health through preventive care, examinations, and basic restorative treatments such as fillings and cleanings. Cosmetic dentistry, on the other hand, focuses on improving the appearance of your smile through procedures such as veneers, whitening, or smile makeovers.
Dental implants are often recommended when a tooth is missing, and there is sufficient bone to support an implant. Unlike bridges, implants replace the tooth root and help preserve jawbone structure. Bridges may be recommended when surrounding teeth already require crowns or when implant placement is not suitable.
Yes. Invisalign is commonly used by adults who want to straighten their teeth without traditional braces. The clear aligners are removable and nearly invisible, making them a convenient option for patients who prefer a more discreet orthodontic treatment.
Several treatments can enhance the appearance of your smile, depending on your concerns. Common options include teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, Invisalign, crowns, or a complete smile makeover that combines multiple cosmetic procedures.
Most patients benefit from dental check-ups and professional cleanings every six months. However, patients with gum disease, dental implants, or ongoing oral health concerns may require more frequent visits.
If you experience severe tooth pain, swelling, trauma, or a broken tooth, it is important to contact the dental clinic as soon as possible. Prompt treatment can relieve pain and prevent further complications.
Modern dentistry uses advanced technology, improved materials, and sedation options to make dental procedures more comfortable than ever before. Many treatments can be completed with minimal discomfort and shorter recovery times.
Yes. Most dental treatments begin with a consultation where the dentist evaluates your oral health, reviews X-rays if necessary, and discusses treatment options. This appointment helps determine the most appropriate procedure based on your dental condition and long-term oral health goals.
Everyone here is very friendly and provides excellent care. I received a full exam on my first visit, and everyone took time to answer my questions and ensured I felt comfortable the entire time - exactly what you want when visiting the dentist. I highly recommend Markham Smile Centre for anyone looking for great dental care.
There is an ample parking space before you get into the office. The receptionists welcome us friendly with proper COVID-19 procedures in place. The staff worked with patient very patiently and professionally. My teeth cleaning was done by Ying, she explained every detail to me and I did not feel any pain or uncomfortable at all. Thanks to the best team !
It's been a while since I've been to a dentist but I'm trying to get back on track with health in general. Overall it was great going to Markham Smile Centre! The receptionist (I believe she was Kim) was friendly. The hygienist, Ying, was attentive and gentle during the cleaning; x-ray tech (forgot her name, sorry!) was great too. Dr. Sara Riad explained things with good detail. Looking forward to going back!
I was someone who was nervous and anxious about visiting the dentist, but the team at Markham Smile Centre has made me feel SO comfortable. Kim is so patient and helpful and Dr. Hwang and Rory are both so professional and wonderful. They thoroughly explain the procedure to make you comfortable beforehand and are very gentle. I now look forward to visiting the dentist!
I found this place on a whim when I was looking for a new dentist in Markham. My hygienist ying was super nice and her cleaning was very gentle yet thorough. I saw Dr.Jason and he was very nice and informative in regards to what needs to be done and provided me with all the information I needed to make a choice. I have been to many dentists in my life, Dr. Jason is easily the best dentist I have ever been too. He does everything he can to make you comfortable no matter the procedure and is a true professional, as does all the staff at Markham Smile Centre. Truly an amazing dentistry
The clinic was clean and the staff was very polite. I particularly liked the fact that everything was explained to me before going in for the procedure so I knew what to expect at each step. The dental hygienist who did the cleaning for me was also very gentle and took my concerns into consideration. I will definitely recommend them.
Upon arriving to the Markham Smile Centre, my son and I were greeted with a warm welcome by the receptionists. The hygienists and Dentist were very gentle and transparent with what they were doing. The hygienist that worked on my 9 year old son was patient and very friendly with him, which helped ease his nerves. Our overall experience was A+.
Since I was little, I have always hated going to the dentist... Its always uncomfortable and unpleasant. These days, visiting the dentist isn’t so bad! Dr Jason, Rory, and the lovely staff at reception make the experience 100x better. I have had absolutely no issues with the gum graft and cleanings that I’ve gotten done here. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful, even when I’m calling in or emailing a hundred questions :). I would highly recommend Markham Smile Centre.
